Import Operations & Business Support
The main purpose of the role is to organise the movement of cargo in line with clients’ requirements, ensuring all legislation and regulations are fully observed.
Our ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate a track record of customer service experience and strong attention to detail. Experience and knowledge of international shipping and documentation and customs clearance procedures is preferred, although not absolutely necessary, as full training will be given.
You will maintain a high standard of professional and technical knowledge through training, teamwork and an awareness of market developments. Drawing from your customer service experience, you will develop and maintain close working relationships with customers and provide regular communication to management of any action required, where appropriate.
There may be the requirement for you to work outside of regular office hours and/or to work overtime.
